Purpose of the Trust

A Charitable Trust Fund established for the benefit of WKSN members that includes the following objectives:

  • Relief of poverty;
  • Relief of the needs arising from old age;
  • Relief of sickness or distress;
  • The advancement of education; and
  • Other purposes beneficial to the community, including promotion and advancement of law and culture.

Access to the distributions outlined below require 'confirmation of connection' to the WKSN language group – this work is done by the South West Aboriginal Land and Sea Council (SWALSC) – www.noongar.org.au

  1. Funeral Payments – $3,000 available for funerals, funds paid direct to certified service providers. Click here and download the Funeral Assistance Form;
  2. Elder (60 years+) Payments – $500 payments available for Elders every 5 years. Click here and download the Elder Assistance Form (60 years+);
  3. Community Centre Payments – $12,500pa to each Community Centre; and
  4. Community Grants – Grants Funding Program
